Do you remember this train station,
Where we said hello,
So long ago,
And we sat down and wondered what to do?
Well the tracks laid out before us,
And the night,
Was so long.
Seemed like the perfect time,
To walk alone.
Do you remember this train station,
Where I held you hand,
In mine,
And I asked you to never leave my side?
But the sun it rose,
And I knew you would go,
And I just hoped that,
Someday you’d return.
But oh the days,
They stretch on like decades.
And the winter snow,
Becomes summer dew.
And still I wait,
At this train station for you.
Now I look at this train station,
Where a thousand souls,
Have been before,
And they said their teary eyed goodbyes.
And I just hope that someday,
You’ll be right back here,
Beside me,
So I can say hello again to you.
